Arena and Competition

Tävlingsledare 

Som tävlingsledare på FISU Student-VM 2026 är du spindeln i nätet för produktionen av tävlingen. Det är du som säkerställer att tävlingen flyter på bra, kommunicerar eventuella schemaändringar till berörda och är en kontakt mellan uppvärmnings- och tävlingsarenan. Du är främst inne i tävlingsarenan och samarbetar tätt med domare och domarvärdinnor, teknikansvarig (livestream) samt personal vid in- och utspring. 

Arbetsuppgifter inkluderar bland annat:  

  • Säkerställa att tävlingen genomförs enligt schema och att eventuella ändringar kommuniceras snabbt och tydligt 
  • Koordinera kommunikationen mellan uppvärmnings- och tävlingsarenan samt övriga funktioner på plats 
  • Samarbeta nära domare, domarvärdinnor, teknikansvarig (livestream) och övrig arenapersonal 

Description in English:

Productions Manager 

As the Productions Manager at the FISU World University Championship Cheerleading 2026, you are the central coordinator for the production of the competition. You ensure that the event runs smoothly, communicate any schedule changes to relevant parties, and act as a liaison between the warm-up and competition arenas. You will primarily be located in the competition arena, working closely with judges and judge hosts, the technical manager (live stream), and staff responsible for athlete entries and exits. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure the competition runs according to schedule and communicate any changes clearly and promptly 
  • Coordinate communication between the warm-up and competition arenas and other operational teams on site 
  • Work closely with judges, judge table managers, technical manager (live streaming), and arena staff 

Uppvärmning 

Som en del av vårt tävlingsflödesteam är du ansvarig för uppvärmningshallen där samtliga lag som tävlar FISU Student-VM 2026 värmer upp innan tävling. Du kan även bli placerad i arenan inför tävlingsdagarna då lagen har möjlighet att träna på plats tisdag-torsdag. Vi ser gärna att du har bakgrund eller kunskap inom sjukvård och/eller skadehantering.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Säkerställa att lagen följer sina uppvärmningstider 
  • Överse klockor och se till att lagen följer sina uppvärmningstider 
  • Assistera i logistiken kring cheer- och dansmattor

Warm-up Area 

As part of our competition flow team, you are responsible for the warm-up hall where all teams competing in the FISU Student World Championships 2026 warm up before competition. You may also be assigned to work in the arena during pre-competition days, when teams have the opportunity to practice on site from Tuesday to Thursday. We are looking for candidates with a background or experience in healthcare and/or injury treatment. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Guide teams to the right mat at the right time 
  • Oversee clocks and ensure teams follow their designated mat times 
  • Assist in the logistics of cheer and dance mats 

Ledsagare 

Som en del av vårt tävlingsflödesteam är du ansvarig för förflyttningen mellan uppvärmningshallen och tävlingsarenan vilken samtliga lag som tävlar FISU Student-VM 2026 tar sig inför sin tävlingstid. Du är en trygg och kommunikativ person som skapar en god stämning i den del av tävlingsflödet där idrottarna förbereder sig mentalt för att gå ut på tävlingsgolvet.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Säkerställa att lagen rör sig i tid inom tävlingsflödet 
  • Följa lagen från uppvärmningshallen till tävlingsarenan enligt schema

Team Guide  

As part of our competition flow team, you are responsible for managing the transportation between the Warm-Up Area and the Competition Arena for all teams competing at the FISU World University Championships 2026. You are a confident and engaging person who creates an uplifting and focused atmosphere in the part of the competition flow where athletes mentally prepare to step onto the floor. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring that teams move on time within the competition flow 
  • Guiding teams from the Warm-Up Area to the Competition Arena according to the schedule 

In- och utspring 

Som ansvarig för in- och utspring sköter du lagens insläpp till bakom kulissen och ut på tävlingsmattan, alternativt utsläppet efter att laget har tävlat. Du har nära kontakt med övriga volontärer i tävlingsflödet och arenaansvarig för att säkerställa att schema följs, uppdateringar noteras och att lagen får en trevlig upplevelse innan och efter sin tävling. 

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Insläpp av lag till bakom kulissen samt ut på tävlingsgolvet på rätt tid 
  • Utsläpp av lag efter de tävlat, guida till videovisning 
  • Ha nära kontakt med arenaansvarig, ledsagare och sjukpersonal vid schemaändringar, skador eller andra oväntade händelser 
  • Ansvarig för Fan Zone 
  • Samarbeta med tränare för musikspelning

Stage Entrance and Exit 

As the Entrance Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the teams’ entry backstage and onto the competition floor, as well as their exit after performing. You work in close collaboration with the competition flow volunteers and the Arena Manager to ensure that the schedule is followed, any updates are communicated, and that teams have a smooth and positive experience before and after their performance. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Manage team entry backstage and onto the competition floor at the correct time. 
  • Coordinate team exit after their performance and guide them to the video review area. 
  • Maintain close communication with the Arena Manager, team guides and medical staff in case of schedule changes, injuries, or other unexpected situations. 
  • Responsible for Fan Zone 
  • Co-operate with coaches playing the music 

Domar- och spottervärdinna 

Som en del av vårt tävlingsflödesteam är du ansvarig för domarnas upplevelse av, och logistik kring tävlingsdagarna på FISU Student-VM 2026. Du bidrar till den professionella upplevelsen av tävlingen och är en viktig del i att säkerställa att våra domare och spotters har allt de behöver för att kunna fokusera och prestera sitt bästa.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Lunchleverans för domare, spotters, kommentatorer, DJ:s och teknikpersonal 
  • Säkerställa att domarna har den dryck och tilltugg de önskar under dagen 
  • Sköta domar- och spotterrummet för att säkerställa trevnad och möjlighet till påfyllning av energi i pauser och raster

Judges Table Manager 

As part of our Competition Flow Team, you are responsible for supporting the judges’ experience and managing logistics throughout the competition days at the FISU World University Championship 2026. You contribute to the professional impression of the event and play an important role in making sure the judges and spotters have all they need to stay focused and perform their best. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver lunch for judges, spotters, commentators, DJs, and technical staff 
  • Ensure that judges have the beverages and snacks they need throughout the day 
  • Manage the judges’ and spotters’ lounge to maintain a comfortable environment and provide opportunities to recharge during breaks 

Arenaansvarig 

Som arenaansvarig har du huvudansvaret för att säkerställa att scen- och tävlingsområdet fungerar optimalt under hela tävlingen, från uppbyggnad och träningar (tisdag-torsdag) till genomförande och avslutning. Du samordnar alla scen- och teknikrelaterade element och är högst ansvarig för att tävlingsdagen löper smidigt.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Ljus, ljud, mattor & tejp, tävlingsschema och eventuella schemaförändringar i nära samverkan med volontärerna för tävlingsflödet och domar- och spottervärdarna.  
  • Du ansvarar för att tidplaner följs, att cue-scheman och att tekniska genomgångar genomförs.  
  • Under tävlingsdagen har du övergripande ansvar för att saker och ting löper smidigt, snabbt kunna hantera oförutsedda händelser och vara den länk som säkerställer att ljud-, ljus- och mattbyten sker enligt plan.

Stage Manager 

As Stage Manager, you hold the main responsibility for ensuring that the stage and competition area operate smoothly throughout the entire event—from set-up and practices (Tuesday-Thursday) to execution and conclusion. You coordinate all stage and technical elements and are responsible for creating a seamless competition day for participants and visitors.  

Job responsibilities include:  

  • Lighting, sound, mats and tape, the competition schedule, and any schedule adjustments in close collaboration with the competition flow volunteers and the judge and spotter hosts.  
  • You are responsible for maintaining timelines, cue sheets, and conducting technical run-throughs.  
  • During competition days, you have overall responsibility for ensuring smooth operations, managing unforeseen situations efficiently, and serving as the key link to ensure that lighting, sound, and mat changes are carried out according to plan. 

Musikansvarig 

Som musikansvarig på FISU Student-VM 2026 är du ansvarig för musik och skärmar i tävlingsarenan. Du är en stämningshöjare och samarbetar med speaker och arenaansvarig, har förståelse för familjeanpassad musik och har gärna koll på trender och populära låtar för målgruppen.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Spela musik under pauser, mellan lagen och vid prisutdelningen. Musiken ska vara anpassad för tävlingen.  
  • Visa eventets logga och/eller det tävlande landets flagga på skärmen bakom mattan.  

Description in English:

Music DJ 

As the Music DJ at the FISU Student World Championships 2026, you are responsible for managing music and screens in the competition arena. You help create a lively and engaging atmosphere, working closely with the speaker and arena manager. You understand family-friendly music and stay aware of trends and popular songs suitable for the target audience. 

Job responsibilities include:  

  • Playing music during breaks, between teams, and at the awards ceremony. The music should be appropriate for the competition environment. 
  • Displaying the event logo and/or the competing country’s flag on the screen behind the mat. 

Prisutdelning 

Som ansvarig över prisutdelningen på FISU Student-VM 2026 är du ansvarig för att lagen som ropas upp till golvet hittar till rätt plats på mattan, ställer upp enligt rekommendation samt får medalj och foto taget.  

Arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:  

  • Koordinera lagen i arenan så att alla får plats och det finns en fri väg fram till och från golvet. 
  • Positionera upp lagen enligt rekommendation för att publik och press/media ska kunna se atleterna innan respektive placering ropas upp.  
  • Guida atleterna till rätt medaljpodium där du assisterar dem i att få medalj samt ett foto taget av sociala medie-koordinatorn.

Awards Coordinator 

As the Awards Coordinator at the FISU Student World Championships 2026, you are responsible for ensuring that teams called onto the competition floor reach the correct position on the mat, are properly arranged according to recommendations, and receive their medals and have photos taken. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinating teams in the arena to ensure there is enough space and a clear path to and from the competition floor. 
  • Positioning teams according to recommendations so that spectators and press/media can see the athletes before each placement is announced. 
  • Guiding athletes to the correct medal podium, assisting them in receiving their medals and coordinating with the Social Media Coordinator to have photos taken.
