Attaché  

Som attaché vid FISU Student-VM 2026 spelar du en central roll i att skapa en trygg, välkomnande och välorganiserad upplevelse för idrottare, ledare och delegationsmedlemmar. Du fungerar som den primära länken mellan delegationerna och organisationskommittén (OC), med ansvar för att kommunikationen fungerar effektivt, logistiska behov tillgodoses och att deltagarna får den information och det stöd de behöver. 

Genom ditt engagemang och din lokala förankring bidrar du till att underlätta delegationernas vistelse, samtidigt som du hjälper dem att förstå och uppskatta den kulturella kontexten i värdlandet. Din insats är en viktig del i att säkerställa att evenemanget präglas av professionalitet, trygghet och det värdskap som kännetecknar svensk cheerleading. 

  • Fungera som huvudkontakt mellan delegationerna och organisationskommittén (OC), och säkerställa att deltagarnas behov tillgodoses samt att de får uppdaterad information om scheman, protokoll, tävlingsoperationer och eventuella sista-minuten-ändringar. 
  • Underlätta effektiv kommunikation, särskilt när attachéer behärskar både det lokala språket och engelska och/eller språket som talas av den tilldelade delegationen. 
  • Hjälpa lagen att förstå och anpassa sig till värdlandets eller regionens kulturella kontext, samt ge insikter om lokala seder, sevärdheter och intressanta platser.
  • Attachén hanterar vissa logistiska aspekter för delegationen, såsom transport och särskilda kostbehov. 
  • Vid nödsituationer, skador eller andra kritiska händelser under mästerskapet kan attachéer fungera som kontaktperson mellan delegationen och OC:s medicinska team. De ska säkerställa att korrekta rutiner följs, följa med berörda deltagare vid behov samt bistå med översättning om det krävs.

Attachés 

As an attaché at the FISU World University Championships Cheerleading, you play a central role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-organized experience for athletes, coaches, and delegation members. You serve as the primary link between the delegations and the Organizing Committee (OC), ensuring effective communication, smooth logistical coordination, and that participants receive the necessary information and support throughout the event. 

Through your dedication and local knowledge, you help delegations adapt to and appreciate the cultural context of the host country. Your contribution is essential to ensuring that the event reflects professionalism, safety, and the spirit of hospitality that characterizes Swedish cheerleading. 

  • As the primary point of contact between the delegations and the OC, ensuring that the participants’ needs are met and that they are informed about schedules, protocols and operations, and any last-minute changes. 
  • Facilitate effective communication, particularly when attachés are proficient in both the local language and English and/or the language spoken by the assigned delegation.  
  • Assist teams in understanding and adapting to the cultural context of the host country or region, offering insights into local customs, monuments and points of interest. 
  • The attaché manages certain logistical aspects for the delegation like transportation and special meal requirements.
  • In case of emergencies, injuries, or other critical situations during the Championship, attachés can act as a liaison between the delegation and the OC medical team. They should ensure that appropriate procedures are followed, accompany concerned participants when necessary, and provide translation assistance if needed.
