Representatives from CISCA conducted an inspection visit ahead of the FISU World University Championship. The purpose of the visit was to review the event organization, competition venues, logistics and facilities that will be used during the championship to ensure that the required standards are maintained.
During their stay, the CISCA delegation met with representatives from the Organising Committee and partner organizations to ensure that all requirements and standards are being met in preparation for the championship. The visit also included inspections of accommodation, transportation, security arrangements and competition areas.
– Following the inspection, I am pleased to say that everything was satisfactory, and we are confident that the venue and arrangements are ready to host a successful championship for our student athletes, says Nomsa Mahlangu, Senior Director at CISCA.
The championship will bring together hundreds of athletes from 16 countries and will contribute to international exchange, sporting development and strengthened collaboration between universities and student organizations.
